El Meco is one of the few archaeological sites located within Cancun. It was an important Maya trading center connected to routes toward Isla Mujeres and the Caribbean coast, ideal for a short, nearby visit.

- El Castillo – the main pyramid, the tallest in northern Quintana Roo, with sea views.
- Plazas and temples – remnants of its role as a port and trading point.
