Sayil is another of the great cities on the Puuc Route, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its monumental architecture was built between the late 8th and mid-10th centuries, at the height of the Puuc style.

- The Great Palace – an impressive three-tiered structure with dozens of rooms, columns and Chaac masks.
- El Mirador – a temple with a roof comb.
- The sacbe and stelae that reveal its organization.
