Uxmal is one of the most beautiful Maya cities in Mexico and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the greatest expression of the Puuc architectural style, with finely carved facades and masks of the rain god Chaac. It flourished in the Late Classic (600-900 CE).

- Nunnery Quadrangle – a set of spectacular facades.
- Governor's Palace – considered the pinnacle of Puuc architecture.
- Great Pyramid and the ball court.
