What to see

  • Bees Plaza and Columns Plaza – the heart of the site.
  • Spanish chapel – remains of a chapel attributed to Alonso de Ávila (1531), a testament to the meeting of two worlds.

Why it is special

It links Maya history with the early colonial era in a peaceful setting near the sea, ideal for a relaxed visit from Chetumal.

How to visit

It is about 15 minutes from Chetumal. Book your tour with Cancun Bay Tours.
